Outside my window... Its cold and windy and getting dark
I am thinking...about our Disney trip in March.
I am thankful for...my kids, friends, family and my job and health
From the learning rooms...learning new quilts and projects this year...
From the kitchen. going to make Chili tonight....
I am wearing...grey sweats and my husband's great thermal shirt
I am creating...new projects and trying to finish old ones...good luck
I am going...to cook more
I am reading...Eclipse ....still
I am hoping...for a new sewing machine someday
I am hearing...the heat go on and it feels great
Around the house...I am decluttering, cleaning....and sewing
One of my favorite things...is sewing and listening to music
A few plans for the rest of the week: looking forward to the weekend and going to sew

Outside my window... Its a very dark and cold place....i cant wait until spring
I am thinking...about my mom and wish I could hug her again one last time.....

From the kitchen...I am cooking with my dad tonight, shrimp newburgh, yum
I am wearing...my pink sweatpants and a nice fleece shirt
I am creating...new quilts and new things with my material
I am going...to Florida in March, can't wait!!!!!

Its a new year...................

I havent been here i know...my mother passed away after bieng very sick since October. I haven't had any ambition to keep a blog, much less sew...Im slowly trying to get my way back in. Bare with me.....So, as soon as I get some sewing stuff going I will share...Im going to make it a point to update this very regularly, its my new year's resolution.

Apple picken and Fall turnover

Hi, yes Im here.....i am so bad, i guess all of you have realized this.....so many things.....my mom is in hospital, has been for about 2 1/2 weeks, she is doing better, but kinda fragile, so we are keeping an eye on that.

We went applepicking yesterday, great weather and did you all know that sometimes they plant crab apples for pollination of some of the trees. We were going thru the trees and saw some crab apple trees, couldnt imagine why so I asked the guy there and he told us that..cool didnt know.

Spent all weekend changing all the summer clothes in both my girls and my closets. What a chore..but got rid of things that I just wont wear anymore, great feeling to purge. So that was my weekend. And that's my life right now......Trying to balance everything. I have a lot of things to post as far as what im making, pocketbooks, walklets (wristlets), i will post them tonight or tomorrow...hope you will come and visit me. thanks.

Hi all, here are finally the pictures I have promised....we are finally done with things and im finally able to write and show....Im working on pocketbooks and other things for a Sept. show , my first one..im really excited, but i really have to get going on making stuff. I won a pocketbook pattern from Ellen Medlock studios. Im so excited...she's on facebook, gotta go and see her site....she makes great bags...anyway, enjoy and tell me what you think.

Im sorry again...been incredibly irresponsible with this..Im finally finishing my kitchen and my quilt that you see down below.....gosh, so much work, my husband is doing such a great job.....im making a bunch of bags and stuff for show, my first show, in September, very excited...the bag is on my etsy...lizzyboos.etsy.com go check it out. anyway...lots more.....
Went to the gym again today, haven't been for 2 weeks, its about time huh? I know a lot of you dont read my blog, i think it is boring, i know, but i changed the design, anyone like it?

I will try and keep up. More pics to follow....i say that a lot, but I promise this time....kitchen and quilt stuff.....lots to do. still have a ton of quilt tops to finish.....we'll get there. Hope you will leave a message.. or a comment..thanks.
