Apple picken and Fall turnover

Hi, yes Im here.....i am so bad, i guess all of you have realized this.....so many things.....my mom is in hospital, has been for about 2 1/2 weeks, she is doing better, but kinda fragile, so we are keeping an eye on that.

We went applepicking yesterday, great weather and did you all know that sometimes they plant crab apples for pollination of some of the trees. We were going thru the trees and saw some crab apple trees, couldnt imagine why so I asked the guy there and he told us that..cool didnt know.

Spent all weekend changing all the summer clothes in both my girls and my closets. What a chore..but got rid of things that I just wont wear anymore, great feeling to purge. So that was my weekend. And that's my life right now......Trying to balance everything. I have a lot of things to post as far as what im making, pocketbooks, walklets (wristlets), i will post them tonight or tomorrow...hope you will come and visit me. thanks.

Hi all, here are finally the pictures I have promised....we are finally done with things and im finally able to write and show....Im working on pocketbooks and other things for a Sept. show , my first one..im really excited, but i really have to get going on making stuff. I won a pocketbook pattern from Ellen Medlock studios. Im so excited...she's on facebook, gotta go and see her site....she makes great bags...anyway, enjoy and tell me what you think.

Im sorry again...been incredibly irresponsible with this..Im finally finishing my kitchen and my quilt that you see down below.....gosh, so much work, my husband is doing such a great job.....im making a bunch of bags and stuff for show, my first show, in September, very excited...the bag is on my etsy...lizzyboos.etsy.com go check it out. anyway...lots more.....
Went to the gym again today, haven't been for 2 weeks, its about time huh? I know a lot of you dont read my blog, i think it is boring, i know, but i changed the design, anyone like it?

I will try and keep up. More pics to follow....i say that a lot, but I promise this time....kitchen and quilt stuff.....lots to do. still have a ton of quilt tops to finish.....we'll get there. Hope you will leave a message.. or a comment..thanks.

How do I Look?.................hahahahha

So, here's my new look, what do you think, finally figured out how to do this.....took long enough. Im finally finishing the quilt im working on only to pick up and finish another one, two....will show pics of progress...My kitchen is the big project now, we ripped out everything and now installing new cabinets, countertops and floor and appliances...so great to rehab an old kitchen, i have pics for that too. Updates.................

Hi, I am proud of myself, I have lost 5lbs since March 16.....woo hoo, go me...hahahha, anyway.. been watching things and exercising, but my trouble is my pants are really big in the legs and hips, but if I try anything on they seem to be tighter in the waist, what does one do.....???? kinda frustrating, but im proud of myself....Anyway I am finishing up the below mentioned quilt and finally giving it to my dad by next week. gosh, took me long enough....i will post a pic tonight when I get home from work, the first night im not doing anything.

We have been gutting our kitchen (pics to follow also) and finally we will get our new cabinets in this Friday and then our appliances next Tuesday...So by mid april we will have a new kitchen im hoping, my dh is laying the floor, going with wood and new lighting...new countertops, its worth the mess and disorganization right now......cant wait... Well that's all the update.. hope you all have a great day, pics to follow. hope you will visit......

Workin on the Bod!!!!

Well, ive started a new regime.....I lost 2lbs already and really putting an effort into my dieting and exercise....we'll see how I do. Still working on some quilts and working on making bags...im selling them at my work...go take a look at my etsy shop...lizzyboo.etsy.com....I did 10 minutes running on the treadmill this a.m. and then 10 min walking, arms with free wieghts and side bends with a wieght....im determined to look great in a bathing suit....keep with me...im going strong....woo hoo.

So, ...i had a day off yesterday....and

Here's what I made.....it took me all day, but this is it, I think im selling these on my etsy....lunch bags....i can make different sizes, I just used the size on the pattern.....Well, not to much, we are supposed to get a ton of snow tonight, around 6-16" they are saying....im in upstate ny....fun stuff!!!!! maybe another sewing day coming around.....
